Paying Dues

There's an idea that has been ingrained in our society that in order to accomplish our goals & dreams, we first have to pay our dues

What this idea does is it immediately creates an assumption that one has to suffer or struggle in order to experience a desired outcome.

The result: What we truly desire for ourselves becomes a projection of the future that is always just out of reach.

What if paying our dues can become less about suffering, struggling, or getting caught up in the dramatic story & more about learning valuable lessons that can help us expand into our greatest self?

Now, what if those lessons that we receive can actually show up with ease & grace? Is that even possible? The answer is a resounding "YES!" By recognizing that there's a blessing in every experience, we become more flexible to them. We actually begin to flow with the world around us instead of resisting it.

Then, paying our dues no longer has to exist because we start to see the magic, beauty & value in the journey rather than some imaginary end point we've created for ourselves.
